TORAIZ AS-1 offers two voltage controlled oscillators (VCO) with a triangle, a sawtooth and continuously fading pulse waveforms.

Two Prophet-6 voltage controlled filters.

Create your sound by editing the two voltage-controlled Prophet-6 filters (VCF): a resonant 24dB low-pass filter that can self-oscillate and a resonant 12dB high-pass filter.

Prophet-6 Effects

Unleash your creativity with the effects, which are also derived from the Prophet 6 dual effect engine. Add a single effect or combine two effects to add more texture to your sound. A “true FX bypass” maintains the path of the pure analog signal with deactivated effects.

Touch keyboard and balance mode

The sounds you have created are played through the touchpad keyboard and the pitches can be scaled using 21 scales, allowing you to stay “in sync” at all times. The tones remain in a harmonious context, even without prior musical knowledge, which can be defined via the 21 different tone scales, which allows you to play TAS-1 intuitively.

Ribbon slider

With the ribbon slider, seven different parameters can be dynamically integrated into the performance by simply moving your fingers up and down on the ribbon field: change the height of the two oscillators at the same time, change the FX component and much more again ! The ribbon cursor will surely become the central element of your live performance!

Arpeggiator

Create a repeating pattern by holding notes on the touch keyboard. Edit sound sequences in octaves or semitones in real time. Experiment with different key combinations or match the key to that of a song

64-step sequencer

Use the 64-step sequencer to record the patterns step by step. In addition, the pattern keys can be changed in real time during playback by pressing the corresponding pitch on the touch keyboard. Take inspiration from a pre-established sequence and develop it according to your own ideas.
