The Pioneer DJ – DDJ-XP2 offers access to the new pad modes of Serato DJ Pro, which provide 16 pads per deck. Modes allow you to assign eight pads to two different functions, such as Hot Cue mode and Sampler mode. This allows you to simultaneously trigger hot signals and samples without changing modes. Other new modes expand the creative possibilities of powerful functions such as Pitch Play, which lets you trigger time markers in twice as many semitones (requires the Pitch’n Time DJ Expansion Pack available separately).
